I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience helping individuals, children, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges and rediscover their strength and resilience. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, stress, frustration, or a sense of loneliness, you’re not alone — and you don’t have to face it alone.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and deeply rooted in compassion. I believe in creating a safe and supportive space where you can be yourself without fear of judgment. Whether you’re struggling in your relationships, facing major life changes, or simply feeling stuck, I’m here to help you sort through your thoughts, emotions, and experiences in a way that leads to greater clarity, healing, and peace of mind.
I work closely with my clients to help them develop practical strategies for managing difficult emotions, building healthier relationships, improving communication, and increasing self-worth. My goal is to walk beside you — not ahead of you — as we work together to identify what’s holding you back and discover what it means for you to live a more fulfilling and balanced life.
No two people are the same, and your path to healing will be unique to you. That’s why I draw from a variety of therapeutic techniques, tailoring each session to meet your individual needs. Therapy is a journey, and I consider it an honor to be part of yours.
You don’t need to have all the answers to start. If you’re ready to take the next step toward feeling more like yourself again — or even figuring out who that is — I’m here to support you.

She is currently a therapist in private practice with K & K Counseling Services in Jonesboro, GA, working with a wide range of clients from pre-teens to seniors.

She has also served as the President of the Southeastern Synod chapter of the African Descent Lutheran Association (ADLA) and on the Southeastern Synod synodical taskforce, Diversity and Justice both teams working to root out divisions in the church based on perceived differences while highlighting our commonalities.

When I consider who I am as a clinician I believe I am a safe place for clients before anything else. I feel as though I meet clients where they are regardless of what they are dealing with, and the use of multiple modalities helps me to do so. I provide clients the opportunity to see their growth through the use of homework. Continuity in sessions, through my attention to details, provides clients with a space to feel heard, understood, and valued.
Originally from Massachusetts, I made my way down to Georgia with a mission: to make a meaningful impact on the mental health of Black and Brown communities. I’ve always had a deep passion for working with children and adolescents, but over time, that passion has grown to include adults, couples, families, and individuals navigating anxiety, grief, ADHD, and more. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where healing and growth can flourish. I look forward to being your neighborhood HOPE dealer.
